TCMF/Department of Defense
The Department of Defense (DoD) mission of STEM is to foster an interest in and raise awareness in the study of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics nationwide to ensure an educated and well-prepared workforce. In support of this mission, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund in partnership with the DOD is pleased to offer full scholarships to qualified high school graduating seniors. Applicants must demonstrate significant motivation and aptitude for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and MUST chose to study in one of these fields to apply.
Full, 4-year renewable scholarship, capped at $15,000 per year (for a total not to exceed $60,000)
•Full Scholarship is defined as: in-state tuition plus all mandatory fees, room & board factoring in other available non-loan resources
•Recipients must meet certain GPA, conduct, and STEM degree persistence goals each academic year to remain eligible for renewal
•2017 Graduating high school senior at time of application
•Have a minimum cumulative 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 scale
