Tennessee State University Academic Work

The TSU Academic Work Scholarship recognizes incoming freshman whose academic accomplishments and involvements indicate promise for becoming outstanding and engaged student learners at Tennessee State University. To be considered for this scholarship a student must be a high school graduate from the state of Tennessee with a minimum 2.9 unweighted High School GPA and a 19 ACT or 900 SAT (Verbal and Math); and no prior college attendance. If awarded the scholarship covers Tuition and Fees for eight continuous semesters .
Students awarded this scholarship must work 75 service hours a semester.
