SunTrust John W. Boyd Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students pursuing degrees that lead to careers in farming and agribusiness programs. Must be a member of the underrepresented and economically disenfranchised population., with a minimum cumulative 2.7 GPA at the time of application and maintain at least a 2.8 on a semester and cumulative basis while receiving the scholarship. Scholarship recipients must enroll in at least and maintain 15 credit hours for fall and spring semesters, upload an updated current resume, a letter of recommendation from a High School Counselor, and a letter of recommendation from a High School Teacher. The recipient must submit a 500-800 word essay describing the applicant’s interest and intent to pursue a career in agribusiness or the food and agricultural science. For new incoming freshmen only,
