The James H. Stewart Award

The grant is to be awarded to a TSU graduate student majoring in Psychology or Education, pending the submission of a fundable proposal. The proposal must be approved by the University, and must deal with the subject of racism. Fundable proposals will reflect the possibilities for positive social change. One half of the award is made after the research proposal is fully approved by the University and one-half is awarded after a successful oral defense of the research. The applicant must submit two letters of recommendation and must provide a copy of the completed research to the donor.
